S’alt Badhüsli & Badgrotte

Historic design world

S'alt Badhüsli is the oldest still preserved stone building below the historical spring reminiscent of the time when people still pilgrimaged to the village for brine baths. Today, a large round table invites up to 15 people to a cosy dinner. The flickering of candles in the stone niches is reminiscent of times long gone.

In the adjoining Badgrotte a hermit allegedly lived in a rock cave which was regarded as a miracle healer. The original spring was uncovered a good 25 years ago and the water is now splashing out of an impressive limestone fountain. Today used as a wine cellar, it is the ideal place for a small aperitif or a romantic têtê à tête.
