In the year 1977 Rudolf Huber-Krattiger (also known as Dr Bärtli-Huber) then acquires Bad Bubendorf and has it transformed into a contemporary hotel and restaurant business during the years 1979 to 1981. At the same time, the original roof windows are attentively reconstructed and on completion of all refurbishing, a preservation order is put on the building.
